Modern Interior Design
This modern condo is on the top floor of a mixed use Residential/Retail Condominium complex. Urban Spaces Design was asked by the furniture retailer, who was a tenant at the street level, to Stage and Style this beautiful one-bedroom unit. We chose all the furnishings and the artwork for this unit. All of the art was custom sized to fit the open and over-height space and all elements were chosen to reflect the beautiful coastal feel of Vancouver’s North Shore.
Urban Spaces had previously done the merchandising and space planning for a number of the client’s retail stores. You can see many images of this work in the merchandising gallery.
It is interesting to know that the massive beams in the unit came from old growth conifers several centuries old when hurricane-force winds ripped through and levelled 41 hectares of forest in renowned Stanley Park, Vancouver.
